Pros

For the most part great people

Cons

Base Salaries typically below industry norm. Executive Management out of touch with teams 2 tiers below. Last manager had the WORST Management style ever! Micromanaged and treated employees like infants. Unable to visualize bigger picture and processes, and unable to visualize down stream impacts of her poor decisions. Said Manager was unproductive and clueless of impact. For a company who's motto is "Hire good people and Empower them" this manager is absolutely clueless and unproductive. Once heard someone refer to this person and the team as "an abused dog still loves it's owner" Manager's advancement through company was via longevity not performance. Sad.

Pros

Lots of benefits and resources with a name brand company. Reputation is good in sense of industry leader but externally has a bad reputation to work with.

Cons

Stiff management that uses fear to ensure everyone agrees with their plan. Management would like to think they encourage new ideas but only if they agree with managements opinions. Everyone becomes a "yes" man. Very tight company that manages with a heavy stick. It creates environment of little cross function collaboration.
