Pros

Cons

Heavy work load. Most employees average well over 40 hours/week. I think this causes a lot of turnover, so we’re constantly being told “once this position is filled/once so and so is trained up everything will calm down.” But in reality it’s a never ending cycle. I think given the amount of overtime we average, pay should be higher and we should get an extra week of PTO. We need time to unwind. Also, in our field it’s completely possible to WFH full time, and we have proven ourselves successful doing it. Most of us do not want to have to add 4 hours commute/week to our already overloaded schedule to work in the office. It’s fine when there are things we are working on together, but we mostly do our own things.
