Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. We are saddened to hear you did not enjoy your experience at Americaneagle.com. Our Human Resources team has been working with leadership to improve our overall managerial system by providing them more training resources and relieving their individual workload to be available for employees. Billable hours are very important to us as it is how our company manages project scope. We are a family owned and operated company, but we always promote and hire individuals that have the skills and qualifications to perform the job. We wish you the best of luck in your career!

Pros

There admittedly are some great people who work here, who can help provide you with knowledge and tools to support you in your next role. This place is a decent stepping stone to your next role.

Cons

Cliques/good ole boys club. Owners have joked about sexual assault in all company meetings. They are big MAGA fans and make it known to everyone Most management is hired within, typically would be a positive except the people promoted are promoted because of who they know (or have dirt on) not because they are skilled or good management material. Leadership bought a private jet after receiving PPP loans. Over last several years have fired numerous long tenured employees because "they make too much", not due to performance. You are a means to an end for them. Leadership encourages employees to not dicsuss pay transparency. Will have team members in the same role making significantly less money that are women. Benefits are fairly awful for a company this size. Many people leave because the insurance premiums are so high and they can afford that for their family.

It's unfortunate that you didn’t enjoy your time at the company, although you admit you were employed with us for longer than 5 years, so we’d hardly consider that a “stepping stone”. We put a lot of resources, time, and effort into hiring good people. Once they’re hired, we train them, encourage them, and give them all the support we can to help them succeed and become an important part of the business. That’s why we have one of the lowest employee turnover rates in any industry. In regards to the accusations included in your “cons” section, we won’t address any of them because they are nothing short of ridiculous. The reality is we have a great company culture as evidenced by the majority of positive reviews on this website as well as the huge number of employees who have been with us for so long. We’re not a perfect company, but we know that our employees drive the success we’ve been able to continually achieve since we started over three decades ago. In the last two years during the pandemic, the number of employees has also grown by 43%. Seems strange we would terminate someone as valuable as you see yourself with having to onboard all those people. When you were hired, we provided a detailed outline of your role and responsibilities. We made it clear the action that would be taken if you didn’t meet those expectations. We also engage in regular employee reviews and you could have brought up any issues you were having not only then, but at any time, as we always encourage transparent communication within every team and department. Instead of dwelling on negativity and spreading unfounded gossip and falsehoods, we truly hope you find inner peace and take the valuable skills gained from your experience with our company and use them to enjoy success at your next place of employment. We wish you nothing but the best. Just an FYI, if you ever use the word "cesspool" in reviews on the companies you work for in the future, just remember it's one word, not two.
