Pros

As an employee of AE, not only are you surrounded by a team that is so knowledgeable about all things web, but people that are willing to teach and share that knowledge.

Cons

Being such a successful company means a heavy workload. The demand for turnaround is high, however the training and education from the variety of tasks is going make a noticeable difference on your skillset.

Pros

Opportunity - I learned so much while at AE. Very interesting and challenging work, management responsive to career growth when employees show initiative. People - most of the people that I worked with were amazing! Some of the best supervisors and co-workers I've ever had. I always felt like I was part of a family. Insurance - By far the best insurance compared to other places I've worked. The high deductible plan (no monthly premium for a single employee) worked great because of the reimbursement program.

Cons

There was a lot of work, no doubt about it. However, the amount that I learned as a result has proved invaluable. Despite the tough workload, the company is very flexible when "life happens."

Pros

I was referred to AE through a co-worker I had previously worked with and heard nothing but good things about AE. The day I applied, I received an e-mail from HR for a phone interview. I was then brought in the following week for an in-person interview with my (now) manager and HR. From there you have to complete a writing critique of a website. I was offered the position the next week. In comparison to other companies I’ve worked with, the benefits package is very good. The whole interview process and communication was seamless. Once onboarded, there is a great support system and training documents/plans. Everyone is really welcoming here and it is definitely a team environment. Having come from a not very technical background, there was a strong learning curve for me. A few managers that helped train me seemed to be very patient with my questions and genuinely want me to succeed – as do I.

Cons

You definitely need to be able to manage stress! Fast paced environment most days!
