Pros

There's only one = Getting a paycheck

Cons

I can't speak on behalf of being a pilot at Ameriflight, however, I can speak on behalf of being a part of the support staff. The management is incompetent which and employee turnover is unbelievable. Any other company would inquire certain departments that suffer high turnover and start asking questions or replacing management. At Ameriflight, they look the other way and foster an environment of poor leadership. I have never worked for a more dysfunctional organization.

It is essentially what mgmt tells you upon hire. Good quality experience, livable pay, decent benes, terrible schedule.

Pros

Good advancement opportunities. Very good training and experience. Decent benefits. Generally reasonable management. Good record of job security. Company has well-deserved reputation of reliability and quality service. Management is well respected within the industry for safety.

Cons

Pay is low but livable. Schedules are demanding and unbalanced in terms of life/work. Morale is mediocre largely due to QOL issues. It is a decent place to get quality experience and move on in a few years. Those "few years" won't be a cake walk though.

Great co-workers. Management makes policies to fit their own needs.

Cons

No training, old crappy planes, bad management, poor pay, bad benefits.

Since your review, we have increased our mechanic pay structure and implemented a level up program, as well as monthly mechanic training. We’ve also changed benefit providers and have seen an increase in employee satisfaction. As a current employee, we hope you noticed those changes and have found them to be helpful.
