Horrible Company with no Diversity in Management at Corporate

Nothing good to say about AFS. However, if you want to start your day at 10am PST and then go to lunch at 11:30 am this is the place for you. Also, work life balance is not bad.

Cons

They didn't have any diverse individuals in management at the corporate level. A few of the Fleet Managers were African American but not in top managerial positions. Also, stuck on ageism. If you're older stay clear. They hired a lot of young inexperienced employees at the Corporate office who had no clue but to drink and hee-haw around with those in charge.

I’m the cofounder and COO - I’m a person of color. This company values diversity and is diverse at the senior management level. Our head of Learning and Development is African American, our head of Safety is a woman. We also do not discriminate based on age. While I fully support any current or former employee submitting their honest review of Amerit, you have to have your facts straight otherwise you are misleading candidates and readers looking to work or find out more about Amerit.

Corporate doesn’t actually care about the field. Safety doesn’t do anything, payroll is riddled with constant mistakes, upper HR drags things out and the COO and CEO seem to allow this to happen. Then they blame the managers when we have turn over…

Wow. What you’re describing is awful. I’d love to know more and ask you reach out to me: apunjani@ameritfleet.com. While in the past, we’ve had to course correct a location going off- process, we’ve intervened and made the necessary changes. At no time should anyone we forced to do a repair that is not necessary as we are engaged by our customers to do the right thing for their fleet. We train our new employees and set them up for success. To hear none of these things happened for you is concerning and so I would like to talk to you for sure.
