If you don't like being in an office at least a few days a week, probably not your ideal culture.

Pros

Working at The Amherst Group has been a great experience. The leadership team is supportive and always open to new ideas. Team members are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They always strive to drive ideation and make their processes better. The company has clear, employee-friendly policies that make it easy to focus on growth and development.

Cons

There is a better scope of effective inter-departmental co-ordination which seems to be missing at times.

Challenging Work with Real Impact

Pros

You get to own meaningful projects end-to-end, not just “assist” with them. The company values accountability, and high performers are trusted with autonomy quickly. Management doesn’t sugar-coat expectations. They want accuracy, follow-through, and professional growth. Cross-team collaboration is starting to improve, and people who speak up with solutions are heard. The data and process work are complex but rewarding. There’s real satisfaction in seeing how your analyses directly shape operational outcomes across regions and help our residents. The systems are evolving fast, and you'll need to be ready to pivot on a daily and weekly basis.

Cons

The unrelenting pace can be intense during monthly and quarterly cycles, requiring strong self-discipline to stay ahead. Communication between departments isn’t always smooth, so you must take initiative to get what you need. This isn’t a job for anyone looking to coast; success here means being detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ready for your target numbers to evolve as soon as you meet the last one.
