Have a promote from within policy Encourage employees to participate in Career Development to enhance skills and knowledge. Afford many opportunities for life-long learning with lots of LinkedIn Learning Courses. Supportive team culture - management and supervisors assist when you have a problem. Employees do not feel bad if they make mistakes, as most are forgiving. My supervisors and managers go above and beyond to ensure team members feel valued, they focus on our strengths to improve our performance, connect with us each day, and take the time to celebrate the holidays by affording a team lunch with fun activities and presents. Thank you, Amica!

Cons

Amica is a great place to work and I know they listen to their employees' feedback, implement changes if they can and generally want to do better. They're not perfect but no company is. More flexibility is needed. Many employees prefer to work two days in the office. It's too much stress driving to work 3 days a week. The pandemic changed everything. All supervisors and managers need to be inclusive, supportive and respectful. This doesn't always happen in every department or branch. Overhaul of the IT Department as they are very behind in technology - older systems, server problems, and connection issues. Practice piloting new technology and providing employees with good instructions rather than attempting to force it when it's clearly not ready. Don't give you a day off for your birthday.

-Company has good benefits if you are someone with a family. -A good place to work at long term, and create a career. -The pay is average for the industry. -Overtime is typically always available, but not required. -Time off is generous. -I enjoy the 9-5, and only a few saturdays a year, works really well when having young kids at home. -Majority of supervisors genuinely care for you, and your place in the company.

Cons

Back when I was hired a while ago, it wasn't really mentioned in the initial interview how important sales were. it was mentioned that it would be required somewhat, but it's actually a large part of the job.
