The people at Borisch really make it a great place to be. Coworkers strive to help each other within and across departments. There is room for growth and management is open to hearing your goals and helping you work towards them.

Cons

There seems to be a somewhat consistent feel of departments being understaffed.

Mostly only first shift; fun employee outings; good coworkers.

Cons

Frequent unexpected layoffs followed by weeks of mandatory over time. Frequent organizational management changes makes it hard to have a working relationship with management.

Pros

The production personnel are long term, wonderful and really want to do the right thing. High regard for safety. Plant is clean.

Cons

No direction or leadership at management level or plant level. Management constantly worries about covering their butt. Your value is based on number of hours worked. No regard for home life. Poor culture. I've never seen management gossip like this. They run very very lean and everyone, does the work of 4 people so expectations are unattainable. Negative, sneaky environment.
