Pros

Great work/life balance. Lots of freedom to manage your own projects. Co-workers and management are great as well.

Cons

Pay is a weak for the area. Old company that does not have new processes in place. Old, slow systems are still being used to process orders and keep track of work. Hard to work fast for customers.

Great co-workers. Relatively frequent days off, but not as many as officially promised (every other Friday).

Cons

Frequent layoffs. Never sure when one's job will come to an end. Layoffs chronic, don't work there if you want relatively secure, continuous employment.

Pros

If you live in or around Sidney NY within driving distance it is one of the few places you can work to make a living. There is a new building / office space to work in that is very under utilized.

Cons

Understaffed organization, extremely poor leadership, archaic business management systems, As of March 2015 there were 171 employees in non-factory related positions with an average age of 47.7 yrs old. It is every person for themselves at this company which makes it extremely difficult to meet success. It operates on a 30 day business plan to generate orders and revenue with little thought or effort put into making long term improvements to products or the organization and culture. I would not recommend that anyone work there unless they could not possibly find a job someplace else and or not willing to relocate to a different area.
