Pros

Team members and hardworking employees

Cons

Micro management of KPIs, no appreciation of experience or skills other than sales. Insane number of meetings and emails that pressurise employees to sell more and more to existing clients without an understanding of Audiology and code of ethics. Middle and upper management is horrible. Do not join this company unless you don't have any other option.

Pros

Your colleagues are the only people in your life who can truly appreciate how bad things are so it forms quite a close bond with those around you. They introduced 12 weeks paid parental leave in 2023 (that you have to pay back if you leave within 6 months of returning) which is the best thing to happen in a long time. They also just moved into a new office in the CBD which looks great and will hopefully broaden the talent pool.

Cons

The downsides are endless, this really is an awful company to work for. The leadership in Milan are horrible, they bully their subordinates and treat you like you’re nothing. The local leadership are almost just as bad, it’s hard to say if they’ve been worn down to the point of stooping to the exec teams level or if they are genuinely bad people too. Regardless, you will never be anything more than a piece of dirt that must hit unrealistic targets or be reprimanded. Local leadership are slowly being replaced by nasty, degrading men from HQ with no interest in who you are or what you’ve done - you will never be good enough. There are a lot of initiatives to improve culture being run by people who do care but they’re all for optics, when it comes down to it, they are words on a page and it will take a huge shake up (and a CEO that doesn’t abuse people) to improve the trash culture. When we finally do hire great people, it takes a mere few days to realise they’ve made a terrible mistake taking the job and they are gone shortly after. Ask how many HR Directors they went through in a year (3!). Don’t be fooled by the attractive salary, you will end up a shell of yourself and your personal life will suffer, we watched it happen to so many incredible people. Put simply - you will be bullied, you will treated like dirt, you will constantly see the imbalance in treatment between men & women, you will walk in to hear people crying in the bathroom most days - you will regret working here.

Pros

There have been some good colleagues

Cons

Recent wage restructuring all staff are forced to endure horrific losses in pay due to company mismanagement. Heartless management. Bullying management culture. Death by KPI. unrealistic targets invented to reduce pay. Pay dates going to quarterly instead of monthly. Ridiculous KPIs. Most decent staff will be leaving. Very old morale. Awful lack of understanding. Zero compassion from senior management. Uncaring attitude towards staff. Lack of any form of respect.
