Pros

Good pay, nice workspace, great cafeteria, good people. Better than average benefits.

Cons

Disconnected management. Say they value employees but don't show it. To much focus on managing the business than actually doing the business. Lots of "theater" to make it look like things are happening. Many of my former co-workers are jumping, the company had a downturn, cutting a lot of the best people. Don't value or know who the best are, the management is to busy trying to keep their jobs or get ahead that they under cut the people doing the work.

Pros

The company store is pretty good---can pick up Christmas gifts for cheap. Perks are pretty good compared with other employers. Cafeterias have decent food.

Cons

It's like working at a cult...It's difficult to figure out what is expected of you and how to adequately perform your job. They make money in spite of how they do business. Managers and above wouldn't likely make it at a company where genuine business knowledge is a must. Get ready to do a great deal of busy work. And be prepared for inaction and a "steady as she goes" culture.

No accountability for upper management.

Pros

Health benefits getting slowly chipped away.

Cons

No check or balances for upper management. No action, little work, effort or creativity. Lots of puffery and self-aggrandizing promotion by the management instead. Wasteful spending, especially in marketing. Lack of follow through on internal policies mostly dealing with abuse, bullying and fear-mongering by management. Little opportunity for promotion in this culture of utmost nepotism and favoritism based on same religious and political affiliations. Many disengaged or utterly frustrated employees. Employee satisfaction survey results are double digit below industry-average.Run while you can. You will be better off for it.
