Pros

Some very nice people to work with. Lots of responsibility given to those that show initiative. A great industry to be in and a relatively good product.

Cons

Amy's struggles with the reality of what their product is and important business decisions are made with this warped reality. Lots of waste and burnt bridges for reasons that are superficial and under the guise of quality. High performing employees are often not recognized until they decide to leave for a position that pays their market value. Amy's is very old-school in this regard unless you are in the inner circle of friends, family, and the occasional c-level or director. Lots of corporate turnover that could be avoided with culture improvement.

Still awesome food...but things have changed

Pros

Great benefits, the product helps people with dietary limits.

Cons

Annual layoffs, often those who have been there a long time causing many gaps that put huge strain on those left, poor management in some departments, overall, too big of a company for those who make the big decisions. Culture used to be very important, that light is dim now.

Pros

food discount, some nice people...only a few however.

Cons

management is disorganized, have no communication skills, and do not know how to train or motivate people. They hide behind this "Gallup" program and pretend to actually care about their people. They have a weird cult like atmosphere as the owners belong to some weird church. Most of upper management does absolutely nothing in the culinary department and if you are not hispanic and related to them...forget about being treated fairly.
