Pros

Very good performance driven culture. Connected planning capability is unique. People all support each other to get a sale done.

Cons

Too many salespeople chasing too few opportunities. Most do not make their quotas.

Pros

Product is interesting and excellent Huge customer appreciation and great customer list Focus on customer is high New sales leader is trying R&d so much better in last few years - more product out door Good benefits and decent pay Investment in people in technical roles

Cons

Sales team needs better leadership. AEs don’t know product, solutions or industry. It’s frustrating to have a great product but clueless people Need more focus in engineering managers and collaboration between teams. UK teams don’t like anyone outside UK. Inability to get together is difficult to do architecture work

Pros

- It really is a good product, most customers love it - There are some (shrinking) pockets of competent people - Pretty good benefits & PTO policy - If you're looking for somewhere with decent pay where you can phone it in, Anaplan might be a good fit

Cons

- Glaring lack of leadership at the executive level - CEO is totally clueless and spends his time writing a book on "culture", while the culture of his actual company continues to suffer - Cash compensation is average at best - Equity compensation is a joke and totally uncompetitive (and the stock has been in a downtrend for almost 2 years, as a result of poor executive leadership) - Very bureaucratic, especially for a company of this size - Corporate culture is unresponsive and opaque. For example, on a recent all-hands Q&A, there were several questions that were challenging (but not disrespectful) to exec management. Days after this, it was announced that employees would no longer be able to ask questions on all-hands calls - Company actively opposes pay transparency practices - Talented, tenured people are leaving in droves as the company continues to stagnate - Turn over is high across nearly every function, leading to confusion and disfunction - CEO has surrounded himself with yes-men, including packing the board of directors, and is insulated from consequences for poor performance

Thank you for your review -- we value all feedback about our company and leadership. It’s great to hear you believe in the value of our product as much as we do and that you are satisfied with the benefits we offer. However, we understand the importance of transparency along with authentic, tenacious leaders who enable employees to do their best work. We’re proud of the strong company culture and values we have today but also recognize there is still work to be done and opportunities to improve in every aspect.
