      Beware - Prof Services

      Pros

      Good product. Rah-rah culture. Employee stock options. Career advancement assuming you play the game (politics 80%, merit 20%).

      Cons

      Kiss your husband goodbye. Business Partners want the sale and retention with no attachment to reality in how to get there. Pro revenue, anti reality. Don't join Professional Services. They still have no idea what they are doing. It's an after thought. No one cares. We need sharing, conferences, learning, alignment, updates. None available. Even the bad Business Partners get conferences, share ideas and learn new skills. Let's learn to do power points and surveys every quarter. Awesome for you BPs. 60+ hours work week. No way around it. Be sure you get well paid up front as there is no promotion in PS.

      Solid product but not much anything else

      Pros

      Good product especially for sales ops and supply chain. Finance use case lesser so. It is significantly more difficult to use than others in the marketplace. new ceo is former cfo that is struggling to break out of his shell. i give him credit for trying, everything is pretty staged.

      Cons

      anaplan has become a propaganda and communication machine over the last few months. there is little transparency for employees and most of the reviews on this site are fake and written by the communication and hr department. its a shame

      We are thankfully investing heavily in the product because we think it’s amazing as well. We have open Q&A sessions, Town Halls around the world, and open channels to discuss just about anything, so it’s unfortunate you feel the 150+ positive reviews are fake.       Disruption at it's finest

      Pros

      Product is incredible. Pure disruption. The thorn in the paw of Oracle/SAP. Leadership upgrades have been ongoing for the past several months. Finally getting relief from some of our past hiring decisions. Total buy in from senior leadership. People are a central focus which is a refreshing change. Lots of focus on culture development. Most companies talk about how great their culture is, Anaplan is being very purposeful in how they are designing their future.

      Cons

      First world problems of fast hiring, getting processes in place, ramping up employees to be quickly successful. All of these things have a pretty strong focus on them at present. This attention to detail will start paying dividends over the next several months.
