Pros

The majority of the people I work with are fantastic. And Ancestry’s WFH policies are amazing.

Cons

Management coddles poor performers at to the detriment of the business and best performers. Continuous turnover in senior leadership has resulted in significant stagnation with the product, and were always executing on variations of ideas that have never really worked. No one in management really understands the market or the core user. There is very little “dog-fooding” done by those responsible for product development, website functionality, or site management and stability.
