Pros

Ancestry has weathered many storms and a fairly safe harbor to be in during economic downturn.

Cons

They refuse to adjust wages to even half of inflation and pay out massive dividends but won’t pay full bonuses or even close to inflation raises. When SLT is confronted with this they tell us our salaries are right at the 50% average for labor costs. The “refer someone to work here” company survey score is dropping like a lead balloon and they tell us work harder and we will be happier.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for growth and development, such a neat product to learn and teach others, highly team-centric.

Cons

Can be difficult to get up to speed in a new role, remote work was bombarded with technical issues.
