      - great work-life balance - great mission - decent pay - remote work available

      Cons

      - leadership is always changing which slows work and causes churn - there is a sense of complacency among many workers - toxic leaders are not held accountable for their bad management - getting honest feedback is near impossible due to 'nice' culture

      Great Place to Learn with Conservative Management

      - Engineers continuously learn and adopt new technologies (Terraform and Fargate as some examples) - Project management is conservative, so there are few development crunches (outside new products) - Teams are collaborative in sharing new learnings, modules, and libraries to avoid duplicating work

      Cons

      - Product development is very conservative/risk-averse (several new products have been axed shortly after release) - Mediocre compensation often leads to turnover of high-performing engineers and managers - Newly promoted or interim managers receive little training before being asked to manage 10 - 20 individuals, leading to poor results
