Unrealistic goals and Hostile work enviroment

Autonomy to work alone Monday thru Friday work week Ability to work with numerous retail channels

Cons

Many projects that are set are unrealistic to complete within a 40 work week. Pressure is placed by management that you are not doing your job well if you can not complete. Audits are done on your work by coming into stores and changing planograms to see if you will catch it and change it.. (More work added thru this practice) Everyday you go to work wondering what obsticales are placed by management or what is just normal day to day work . Travel is not compensated well, they say that a 4 week history is done on gas but this is not true. Recently gas has increased 60 cents and it is still at .31 a mile

Pros

short shifts, competitive rates, looking at product before its release date, receiving free movies now and then to your mail box, gladly took me in with no prior retail experience.

Cons

rough scheduling, waking up 3-4am just to be at work around 6, can't be sick too much, can't exceed 5 hours a shift, unrealistic expectations, understaffed, warehouse is all over the place, not too many communication.

The job allows for a certain amount of elasticity to the hours that you have to work. This position is also very self-motivated with little to no supervision for long periods of time.

Cons

You will have to work long hours especially during the holiday seasons, including the holidays themselves. You will also work odd hours during many special events during the year including: over nights, mornings, and afternoons depending on what is going on at that time.
