Pros

They are semi flexible with scheduling. started above minimum wage. training was a breeze. the technical stuff always had a help line available.

Cons

To much things that are needed to be done in such a short time. Could use a little more structure.

Pros

Little supervision and a fairly lenient schedule. Pay is good compared to other retail companies if you get any hours.

Cons

Things started off well but only because I had previous merchandising experience. It became clear in my first two weeks of training that if I hadn't had the experience that I would have been set up to fail at this job. There were over 20 people training with me with only one DM there to train. This person did not know the job at all and had a very hard time explaining and telling people how to do the job correctly. In result of this, many people in our district did fail or quit soon after the training process. I even trained the Specialist that was hired a month after I was put in the location I was supposed to work. Communication was nonexistent and when there was communication my DM would tell me how great I was and to just "keep doing what I was doing." I worked for Anderson for 6 months and in that time I traveled to several locations without compensation. I bent over backwards only to be "Laid Off", because the DM overhired and there just wasn't enough hours to accommodate everyone. The people that still work for Anderson that I trained with are only receiving 10 hours a week. Therefore, if you want a job that you can make money at this is not the job for you.
