Pros

I created a lot of professional relationships and made a lot of money in the role, but….

Cons

In recent years, the company has undergone a lot of change. The change has not been for the better. Employees are undervalued and micromanaged. So long are the days where you could be a top performer and have a great work life balance. So long are the days where you could be a top performer and make top performer money. Upper management is handicapping people from excelling and taking advantage of the uncapped commission structure. People are having to work harder, to make less money. It’s really sad to see the direction the company is headed.

Cons

- Management can't make up their minds or communicate w/ any effectiveness - Desire to be perfect extends hours & stress to levels they have no business getting to for an FP&A role - Prepare to reforecast every day of your life - All the good talent leaves for more money - Millions of shares given to the laundry list of failed executives, yet 3% raises w/ no equity have become the standard

Pros

If you're an underperforming they'll keep you on and shift the work to the high performers. That's a pro if your an underperformer, but a con for high performers.

Cons

There are any real incentives to create additional value. The company has a mountain of tech debt and is negatively impacted by poor decisions from the C-Suite for the past 6-7 years. The culture has greatly shifted in the past 4 years which has resulted in high turnover and loss of tribal knowledge.
