Pros

Work from home. Weekends off.

Cons

Although you work from home you are required to be on zoom all day from the time you clock in with camera and mic. Angi has a bad name for itself online and anywhere you search it and most businesses you contact will be very interested until they here it’s Angi then they’ll hang up making it harder to get sales. I started in the last quarter of the year which is the worst time for the company so I wasn’t able to hit my sales goals nor did more than half the training class I started with so they either resigned or were fired. When a company has horrible reviews and a bad name for itself there’s nothing much else you can do. Most people go online to research businesses they plan on investing their money into and the reviews for Angi are horrible. There are some success stories within the company that keep the company alive. Everyone else is just there to squeeze a deal if they can

Pros

You get to work from home.

Cons

This is a clear scam call center. If you want to be a REAL sales person here, forget it. You read a script word for word and get forced to make 200+ dials a day mindlessly. The training is laughable. The additional “coaches” they force you to sync up with are ridiculous. They clearly have no clue what they are doing. When a “sales coach” constantly begins a meeting with “I have some fire lines for you to drop on the phone” just hang up. I have never been apart of something so laughable. If you want to do actual sales, just forget it if you are here.

Pros

I felt like my immediate team worked great together and that my manager actually cared about my goals and progress

Cons

The company’s decision to force employees into a hybrid/on-site model was a major factor in my decision to leave the company. The methods they used to enforce this seemingly out-of-the blue decision were disrespectful and shameful. The hours were already long (12+ hour days) and projects were very stressful - forcing people to uproot their lives to regain “company culture” was the absolute last thing they should have been focusing on.

Thank you for your review! We believe that there is great benefit in bringing team members back together in the office, and we hope that team members are enjoying the ability to connect and collaborate with each other in-person. However, we do understand that this transition was difficult for some. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
