Pros

SCRIPT SALES - better like reading a script and talking over people and making 300 calls. Training seemed positive and encouraging at first. You won't graduate in first month and will be terminated very quickly if performance falls. Good for company I guess. Separates the strong from the weak. Great training for used car sales!

Cons

Recycled poor leads. Incompetent HR, management fires by email if performance is not met in 2 weeks. EXTREMELY HIGH TURNOVER. BEWARE, THERE IS NO HR EMPLOYEE ADVOCATE.

We appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback with us so we can continue to learn and grow. Our training program and trainers do an amazing job of motivating new representatives as they are onboarded with many new hires graduating within the first month. We're excited this experience was generally positive for you but are sorry to learn about your perception of our leads. To equip our sales teams for success, we provide our representatives with leads without them needing to solely source on their own. Some leads are warmer than others, however we provide resources to give everyone an equal chance of obtaining the warmer leads and encourage individuals to reach out to their supervisors if they have questions on how to access additional training and tools that are available. Angi has dedicated HR Business Partners that prioritize the needs of our team members and are available to discuss any concerns you may have. We highly encourage you to reach out to one of our HRBP's or to myself directly so we can work towards a solution. Thank you again for your review. - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy

Pros

The managers were kind and the training was good.

Cons

The people really had no interest in signing up. It was very difficult trying to convince someone to give you their credit card information over the phone while they were at work.

Thank you for sharing your unique perspective with others. We pride ourselves on employing amazing talent and managers who make it a priority to grow their teams. Training is another important aspect of our onboarding process and we're glad that resonated with you. It's understandable that speaking with prospective customers is not easy depending on their needs and interests in learning about our product offerings. While sales can be hard at times, we do have training and resources available to help tailor plans to customers and provide examples that resonate with pros across industries. We encourage you to explore those options with your supervisor or a training lead to help with your future success. We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy

Pros

The co workers on your team/directorship can be truly like family. Spinwheels with prizes.

Cons

Micromanaging. Peps/caps where you get fired for not hitting sales metrics on a 2-4 week period. DO NOT SIGN THE PAPERWORK TO WILLINGLY LEAVE. Let them fire you and collect unemployment. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING if you are termed. The VPs are money hungry! They will fire someone who puts in effort but falls short one week, while rewarding someone who is skirting the background check process, lies to prospects to get them to sign up and steals from the company. You are just a number. Don’t let the fun training and incentives distract you from the devil itself which is this company. You will feel soulless after a while after scamming innocent hard working people out of their money. PLEASE listen, RUN. You will read all kinds of reviews and ultimately make your own choice, that’s what I did. And I regretted it every single day after. Please don’t work here.

Thank you for leaving a review! It's encouraging to hear that your team members became family during your time at Angi and that you enjoyed some of the fun contests run throughout each quarter. That said, we're saddened that your experience as a whole was less than ideal. We value every team member on our sales team and strive to create an environment where individuals past training thrive. For this reason we offer an uncapped commission structure to all full-time sales representatives and have additional training in place to help everyone succeed. One of our core values is "all about talent" which is why we invest heavily in securing (and retaining) top talent. Promoting within is also a top priority for us as we want to equip individuals to have long, meaningful careers at Angi. We're sorry this was not your experience and we encourage anyone with questions around sales practices to reach out to their supervisor or myself directly so we can mitigate issues before they grow. We appreciate your time spent at Angi and wish you all the best. - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy
