Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’ve put significant effort into developing a compensation plan that combines a stable base salary with the potential for substantial commissions, ensuring employees are rewarded for their hard work and valuable contributions. Regarding turnover, the claim of 90% turnover is inaccurate. Over the past year, we have stabilized and even reduced turnover. Our team includes both long-tenured employees and those who have recently joined, reflecting a dynamic and evolving workforce. We understand that quotas can feel challenging, and we recognize the importance of setting goals that are both ambitious and achievable. Our intention with these targets is to drive success while supporting individual growth and team performance. Thank you for your feedback, we wish you the best in your future endeavors. Pros

As a my first sales position it was a good way to get in the door, and the remote work was nice.

Cons

As my first sales position, I did not realize how toxic it was until I left. The reps are constantly micromanaged and can not go longer than 5 minutes without making a dial. You are constantly yelled at my the people you are cold calling because the leads are so run through. The stress of staying off of performance plans is also constantly on your mind. The product is not good and I felt genuinely gross selling and pushing this on people just to hit my numbers. The management also (when I was there, I am unsure if this is still the case) would cut corners to hit numbers. It was not allowed to sign up anyone who did not have a social security number but miraculously there was one that the management team would put in if there background check bounced back that would work? When I decided to put in my two weeks notice for another position my manager was extremely inappropriate. I was yelled at and they had basically told me that I had wasted their time and mentorship. It felt similar to if you broke up with someone and they were trying to gaslight you. After a 45 minute phone conversation I was told to not log back on the next day and that I was making a mistake. They had also tried to gaslight me into believing that the company I was leaving for was horrible (I still work here and have loved every moment of my new career). I later got another 30 minute long phone call at around 7 pm at night. The whole situation left a really bad taste in my mouth as I was trying to leave on good terms. After my time at the company and my experience, when anyone asks me about my time at Angi I genuinely do not have anything good to say.
