Pros

Monday - Friday schedule. major holidays off, work from home, grace period of 12 weeks from start date before metric driven performance plans begin.

Cons

High turnover, lack of support from above managers, shifts in company metrics, shifts in compensation plans (i.e. In the past 8 months at this company, I have seen 5 different compensation plans.), Angi brand name is not as strong as it once was with a huge lack of faith from the contract workers whose numbers get recycled from sales rep to sales rep, several different divisions of Angi working against each other causing confusion for the contractors using the product.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad you appreciate the Monday–Friday schedule, major holidays off, and the grace period for new hires before performance metrics take effect. These aspects are important in maintaining a balanced work environment, and we’re happy to hear they’ve been beneficial to you. That said, we understand your concerns regarding high turnover, shifting company metrics, and changes in compensation plans. Frequent adjustments can create uncertainty, and we recognize the impact this has on employees' confidence and stability. We are continually evaluating how we structure compensation and performance expectations to ensure they align with both employee success and business growth. We also acknowledge your feedback about the challenges with internal alignment and brand perception. The experience of both employees and contractors is critical to our success, and we are actively working to enhance communication, streamline processes, and strengthen relationships across different teams. Our goal is to foster a more cohesive and supportive environment where employees feel empowered and equipped to succeed. We truly value your insights and encourage you to share any specific suggestions with leadership or our HR department at HR@angi.com. Your feedback plays a crucial role in helping us improve, and we remain committed to creating a work environment where all employees feel valued and supported. Thank you for your dedication and contributions to Angi!

Pros

Fully remote, which is great if that’s what you’re looking for. Most people I’ve worked with are really friendly, smart, and help you learn as you go.

Cons

Often times the work is very silo’d, and there isn’t much opportunity to collaborate with other teams in the department. Zoom fatigue sets in pretty quickly, and being fully remote makes it difficult to develop relationships with colleagues at times. Coworkers and teammates are located all across the US in different time zones - so sometimes it can be tough to truly disconnect and log off for the day, it can be tough to find a true work-life balance. Salary can be on the low end of the scale for some positions.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you appreciate the remote flexibility and the supportive team environment. We understand that working remotely can sometimes feel siloed, and we continue to explore ways to foster cross-team collaboration and connection. We also recognize the challenges of Zoom fatigue and work-life balance, especially with teammates across multiple time zones. Your feedback is valuable as we strive to improve the remote work experience.

Pros

your coworkers will likely be really nice, and even though its remote, you can make real friends through this job.

Cons

The company has been minimizing employee benefits for years. Everything on the sales force as become increasingly strict, while minimizing payouts. Sales commissions have been cut in half, and the ability to earn is extremely limited. Managers and reps are no longer able to prospect their own leads, so they are stuck with exclusively over worked leads, and can keep minimum sales in their pipeline. Commissions payouts change around 4 times a year, and have gotten increasingly worse. The new structure is the company creates a goal every two weeks for the following pay period, and you only get paid on percent to goal. Goals changed over 6k in between pay periods for no reason other than to limit rep payouts. The company hasn't been doing well so they keep changing too many things at once and getting worse and worse. I'd recommend avoiding working here at all costs as it is now. It used to be a decent company to work for, but they have consistently made it worse, and there's no sign of improvement anytime soon. They also haven't promoted any reps in years, so no room for upwards growth either.
