Pros

Good compensation. Many talented Product Mangers

Cons

The revenue is shrinking, Every 6-8 months there is a reorg. People are being laid off all the time and upward growth is stagnant. Everyone working there is trying to ensure they aren't laid off when the next re-org hits, so all the employees are prioritizing ensuring they look good. This means their data-driven culture is a fraud and work life balance is horrible.

Pros

Training commissions were decent, culture is pretty awesome, great training

Cons

Pay is not up to par with other places and it’s worse now then ever before. I actually worked for this company twice once when it was Home Advisor, and once, when I recently had transitioned to Angi. I actually started off making last five years later with Angi hourly than I did when I started at Home Advisor.. I was a pretty middle of the road sales rep considering the fact that 90% of the people we called answer the phone, knowing who we were already and basically just made fun of us and the other 10% were people that really weren’t going to benefit from the service and you knew that. Benefits aren’t great. Their average at best and the micromanaging is unreal.

Pros

*Commission structure *the peers, managers and directors that you work closely with everyday are great people for the most part

Cons

Sales reps are expendable no matter if you’re a top rep or a subpar rep. The company has been sued so many times that they are paranoid about additional lawsuits and bad publicity. Therefore the tiniest infraction, where malicious intent is obviously not present, can lead to termination. Instances that anywhere else, and in the past at ANGI, would have been coachable and teachable moments can now lead to immediate termination, completely skipping verbal, written and final warning protocol. Again, this is in reference to instances that are obviously outside the realm of gross misconduct.
