Cons

Not for those who aren't driven to perform.

Pros

*Commission structure *the peers, managers and directors that you work closely with everyday are great people for the most part

Cons

Sales reps are expendable no matter if you’re a top rep or a subpar rep. The company has been sued so many times that they are paranoid about additional lawsuits and bad publicity. Therefore the tiniest infraction, where malicious intent is obviously not present, can lead to termination. Instances that anywhere else, and in the past at ANGI, would have been coachable and teachable moments can now lead to immediate termination, completely skipping verbal, written and final warning protocol. Again, this is in reference to instances that are obviously outside the realm of gross misconduct.

Pros

Uncapped commission is great!! You have the ability to get a $7,000-$20,000 check each pay period. It is impossible to hit those numbers because you have to convince the service pros to spend thousands with us each month. In office lunches! Lunches were catered Tuesday-Thursday for free and they are from super high end delicious restaurants. The training program is out of this world. The trainers really love their job and love Angi. Their success is hinged off of your success, so they will do everything in their power to mold you into a fire closer b

Cons

No job security. If you don’t sell $26,000 each pay period you will be terminated. If you don’t graduate from training you will be terminated. If you signed a service provider up, hit your goal but then the sp fails their background check, they take that sale away from you which means you never hit goal and you will be terminated. They do not care about their employees at all, they only care about making money. If you don’t make a sale, you are fired. I’ve seen people who have worked for the company for years be fired because they didn’t hit their goal once. Only 6% of Angi employees stick and this is something that they will tell you during training. It is an incredibly difficult product to sell and service providers do not want to pay for work that isn’t guaranteed. They want you to call the same person 6 times a day until they answer. If they the person said they aren’t interested we still are forced to call them. 9/10 dials I’ve made are from people that have already spoken with Angi and told them they were not interested. Nobody wants to spend money with Angi. They force you to be persistent and it is a huge turn off for potential partners.
