Pros

Base pay is guaranteed and commission can be great. It is a tough product to sell and you need to make 200 dials a day. Training is fantastic. The trainers really seem to care and want you to succeed.

Cons

They don’t tell you what bandwidth you need for remote work until day 5 of training. I have 100mb/s with my wired connection, during a 1 on 1 training session they have you open a speed test and I rated at 35mb/s. I was then told to either quit that day or be fired. I was proud to have a new job and pumped to start really getting into what the job entails. It was stripped from me due to meeting the guidelines that were set before I started working then changed on day 5. They recommended at least 75mb/s for sales because you are calling people while on zoom the whole day. Apparently they knew I would be dropping calls without me having made a call yet. And this led to my choice to quit instead of being fired for something I haven’t done yet. The company itself is slowly declining and they seem a little desperate to not talk or show it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent experience with our company, both the positive aspects and the challenges you encountered. We greatly value your input and we're delighted to hear that you appreciate our compensation structure, which provides a solid base pay along with the opportunity for impressive commissions. Selling our product can be challenging, but your hard work can lead to significant rewards. With that being said we understand your frustration regarding the change in bandwidth requirements during your training process. We apologize for any confusion and acknowledge that this information should have been communicated more clearly from the outset. The update to a 75mb/s requirement is meant to ensure that you can effectively engage in sales calls while being on Zoom. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback, we wish you all the best!

Pros

Benefits, Team spirit and people

Cons

Higher management's haste decisions Random firing of hardworking people by someone who just takes the helm. Things are trying to get back to how they were but went too far long without vision and random experiments under previous leadership.

Pros

Work from home hybrid position

Cons

No training support, try to get you to lie to service providers about guaranteed leads, low hourly pay, they send the same leads to multiple service providers and regardless of getting the job each service provider pays for the same lead, there are other companies offering this same service at a lower price, were being investigated by the FTC

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear you did not feel like you had training support. We have invested a lot in our orientation and training programs. Every new hire that comes into Angi goes through a robust onboarding program. Following our initial training period, we also include all new hires in an Ongoing Training Program designed to support and further develop our sales professionals through their first 13 weeks of employment with us. We understand the importance of individual and collective growth which we work to achieve through education, guidance, and feedback from all team members. We encourage you to reach out to your manager if you feel that you need additional support at this time or in the future. We are also dedicated to fostering a positive work environment. We continuously strive to maintain the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction and provide a fulfilling experience for our employees. Our compensation structure allows members of our team to earn high compensation with a focus on commissions. We continue to evaluate these structures to ensure they provide each Angi employee an opportunity to be successful. Our focus at Angi is on building life-long customers. We do not allow our team members to lie to service providers about guaranteed leads. In fact, one of our company values is Build Trust. Do What's Right. To ensure sales teams understand our expectations in how they sell our products, we require all sales representatives to sign an acknowledgement of their sales obligations. We also monitor and discipline, including terminate, sales representatives who make these statements. The statements made in your post are completely contrary to our values, training, and policies and we ask that you reach out to hr@angi.com immediately so that we can open an investigation.
