Good people, Unclear future

Pros

People are decently knowledgeable and good to work with (depends on your team). Company has pretty decent work-life balance. Benefits and insurance coverage are good.

Cons

Predominantly a HK company. Tries to decentralise but treats overseas employees as satellite resources. Company's mid-senior management is primarily ex-IBD and ex-MBB background; hence company is run like a Web2-2.5 corporate and really lacks Web3 nativeness. Company's strategic direction is weak, always reactively chasing the latest trend. Business model is unable to drive sustainable recurring revenues, so Company is trying to and exhausting all means to milk any revenue streams, which is increasingly challenging in the downward trending market. Hails AI as the solution to all, but again "riding on the latest trend". Company lacks sufficient structure and strategic vision to really harness AI tools.

You don’t need to be an expert cus no one in the company knows anything More incompetent staff has stayed here for a long time, most likely you can relax and chill here.

Cons

Your input is ignored, they only go with whatever the boss asks for. They have no strategic planning. Lowballing staff’s need with empty promises.
