      1. Good for initial carrier. 2. Good work/life Balance

      Cons

      Middle level managers are sick. They don't know how to retain the people. Very low maturity level of manages. You will survive if you keep your boss happy.. else... they will throw you out.

      Pros

      Great place to start and grow for the first 2 or 3 levels. Meritocracy rules at these early stages of career.

      Cons

      Beyond the early career stages, growth potential exists, but it's very arbitrary. Very advanced & deep technical expertise is needed to excel in ANSYS technologies. However, managers are busy playing politics to notice and encourage real value creators. Hence being "visible" is a better approach to grow than being really good at what you do.

      WorkLife Balance, Stability in growth in good times, Easy to get in since the company finds it difficult to recruit employees at low salary

      Cons

      Challenging work but compensation not at par with it, Management arrogant about their existing techniques, Too much favoritism and politics around appraisals eventually leading to fresh faces moving on
