Pros

Great Vibes and lots of creative people on a very modern floor. Everyone was always very kind and the sort of "coworking space" that was created there was great.

Cons

Big turnover rate often leaving one left with other (ex) employees responsibilities. This did not give you any sort of financial advantage or just overall acknowledgment from peers or hire-ups.

Pros

The HR department is great, the remote hiring technology they use is a game changer for us remote workers. The pay was above average for talent in LATAM where they are currently hiring. There are some amazing people that work at Apollo.io, for some time there was a feeling of unity, team, and the willing to help everybody and everybody. The reason of this though, is because my entire bubble were new hires, so obviously we all had a sense of integrity. Tons of flexibility, 0 micromanagement, a lot of young professionals looking to innovate.

Cons

Apollo.io could easily be the best job you have ever had but they lack one major thing, leadership skills. During my time at Apollo.io I quickly realized how employees were pons to the CEO. In my first week my Sales Manager got fired and 2 candidates who were still onboarding quit. A really GREAT sales manager to say the least who made a humanly mistake and got cut for it. Which takes me to my next con. You could be working at Apollo.io and think you are having a great run and then get fired out of no where. Apollo.io had a high rotation rate during my time there and unless you were a great sales person who knew the product prior to joining, you were not being set up to succeed. They would hire a bunch of people and then fire of bunch of people like literal pons. I had 3 Sales managers during my stay and I was only there 6 months. From Account Executive they forced us into account management roles and had 0 to no care of what we thought, feared, or wanted. A really awesome work environment quickly turned to working in fear and I´m 100% positive that all of my colleagues felt the same way. A company with real leadership and culture doesnt cut you from the team because you made a mistake. For as long as I can remember companies have been giving warnings, 3 strikes, development sessions, to grow their talent instead of reclycing them, and that is exactly what Apollo.io does, they farm talent and then exploit them to their benefit and thats why the. majority of them are based in Asia. I love the product, love it´s potential, but really disappointed with their leadership in general, rookies fighting to keep their job.

Pros

It was okish in the first half of the year. Post funding, things have gone way downhill

Cons

Micromanagement- you are treated like an instruction taker CTO - The guy is grumpy most of the times and micromanaging Lack of trust - the most top down company I have ever seen Culture - zero culture It’s over. They hired smart people by throwing good joining comp but they cannot retain them. Market is crowded and the business model is non sticky for the customers. Enterprise readiness isn’t there.
