The food wasn't bad for staff meals and abundant.
Cons
Not transparent in the hiring process that dorm rooms are tiny bunkbeds in smal rooms with hard mattresses. Hair and dirty tissues under mine upon arrival. If they say you will likely have your own room in the winter...they are lying to get you there...or at the very least gaslighting you with only the positive possibilities. Prep Cook job description didn't match the actual duties. Glossed over the fact I would be a burger flipper when it was just organic sandwiches on the listing. Kitchen was filthy and lacked any deep cleaning. HR wasn't really helpful by the time I figured out to contact them. It wasn't the experience I was expecting or the workplace I hoped for after thru-hiking the AT.
