Post Acquisition Mess

Pros

Talented individuals on sales and technical teams. Sharp people that are good teammates and want to see the company do well, continue to grow and support their customers.

Cons

Turned into a really bad company to work for after the acquisition. Zero focus from Sr. Leadership on building and developing a culture of mutual growth and success. If one speaks out about this they are chastised for speaking up and will eventually be run out of the business. A company that once cared about their people now cares about nothing but increasing profitability so the private equity firm that's a majority owner can maximize their valuation and get their successful exit. Executive leadership decisions in the Americas that are being made are to the detriment of current employees as well as their own customers, many of which have stuck with the company for years. You'll notice when looking through reviews that those since March will typically be pretty negative. This isn't really Applied Software anymore, but Graitec USA and it's a really bad company to work for.

From good company to greedy corporation

Pros

Good spot to start career in the SaaS space. Some decent and nice people in certain departments too. Great line of services relevant to a very saturated market. Any tenure prospects beyond a year or two isn't ideal for a place like this one. A launching pad, but not a longterm home for a career in all honesty.

Cons

Cheap benefits and healthcare packages that do not make health decisions easier, but harder because coverage is slim. Ok 401k program, but nothing special. The pay was industry-standard for the most part and fairly average if your leadership valued your contributions. The payout was fishy if you excelled. Always seemed stingy paying workers who exceeded KPI's and metrics. The model of work used to be remote, but has quickly pivoted to a primarily in-office set up with some exceptions. That ruffled a lot of feathers internally. The culture shifted significantly post-Graitec acquisition and a lot of people left because of it. The greatest negative working here was a lack of trust in leadership decisions. There was a shift after being acquired that favored profits over people. That pivot in priorities led to many leaving including me. With what appears to be an incoming flip for the company to be acquired again or sold off, the C-suite made many blindly cutthroat demands that were unrealistic. Thus, tarnishing their reputation and the respect their employees used to have for them. Overall, a company that was good that I loved working for quickly derailed into something far worse. I wouldn't recommend hopping aboard this toxic, sinking ship.

Pros

Leadership is amazing. they really care for you. fantastic coaching, you will be a better salesrep.

Cons

The pay structure is so far behind the national average They promise a lot on OTE, but it is difficult to make those numbers with complicated packages. The benefits are terrible. PTO is terrible. Their systems (CRM) is an absolute joke.
