Pros

Applied has a powerful brand and leading market position, and continues to invest in growth and innovation. Applied's product expansion and geographical expansion (most recently to the UK & Ireland) has enabled many in the company to take on new roles. Its been fun working with leaders of Applied's teams around the world to come up with solutions to the problems encountered in insurance.

Cons

Routine growing pains. With 15+ offices and a healthy batch of remote workers, it can be challenging day-to-day to collaborate as much as we'd like. Tools like Slack, Webex, etc help but waiting for the next breakthrough here!

Pros

Easy commute. Onsite cafeteria. Free bagels every week and semi-regular employee appreciation days.

Cons

Pay is ridiculously low and annual increases are 2%, at best. It's unreal that they would overwork employees and not give an appropriate merit increase, but send Sales on an all expenses paid trip to Mexico, and other tropical places, each year just for meeting their goal - aka doing their job.

Industry leader with great product vision Uncapped Compensation plan that pays (if you want to work) 5 star President's Club Trip (just got back from Puerta Vallarta!) Nice work environment (coffee, bagel/fruit Tuesday's, etc.) Learn a solutions approach to selling in a complex high tech environment

Cons

Location is a little far (but my schedule is flexible enough) Takes a while ramp and learn all the insurance lingo and Applied products
