      Fast-paced, lots of responsibility, very interesting work, never the same thing twice, custom work, little overhead

      Cons

      Lots of work, high pressure, frequent off hours work (since we took agencies offline so this minimized business impact)

      Pros

      - There are a lot of great people that work at Applied, and it has a good work environment. - The benefits start the first day you are hired, and there is no waiting period like most companies. - I feel my job is secure, and there are big layoffs. - The company is growing very rapidly. There are a lot of good career opportunities, especially in IT and sales. - It is a casual work environment where you can wear jeans every day. - Applied has a lot of entry level opportunities for new college graduates. It is a good place to learn, and grow your career. - My department is managed very well, and has a strong team focus.

      Communication from senior management to lower management could improve.

      The people are great! Be open and you'll get along with your coworkers

      Cons

      Low and inconsistent pay. You may start at the same time as someone with the same experience but make between 5K and 10K difference. Management reaped a lot of benefits at the cost of the dedicated employees. Little recognition from upper management.
