      Great company to get the first 1-2 years experience but no long term possibilities in any department.

      Pros

      The culture is very laid back. People can enjoy some flexibility in schedules and management is very accepting of a variety of schedules. Easy to make friendships and co-workers are great to work with.

      Cons

      Information is rarely communicated between departments. Information is gathered by trial and error rather than from training. Ever evolving software is difficult to retain conversion consistencies which opens the door for more errors.

      Pros

      Applied hired me out of college without much work experience and I was able to get a decent promotion in about 2 1/2 years.

      Cons

      Applied is agile, but expects waterfall results. Several times months out from a designated delivery date we informed management the team wasn't going to meet the deadline, but they forced us to hold to the date so products go out incomplete. The company also has a reputation for underpaying.
