Pros

If you are willing to work hard, they compliment you with bonuses, raises, parties, food days, and much more. You get a steady salary, and are in a position to move up. I am seeing almost every week someone moving up. I have worked hard and have had a nice bump in salary. There is a nice benefits package for you and your family. This company actually cares about the Employees. When my son died at birth, I took a week of vacation to see family, and try to regroup. They actually gave me from the goodness of their hearts another week, to try and recover. I did not even have to ask.

Cons

The only downside I would say for my case is that it is nearly 45 minutes from my house. so there is alot of driving involved. But that is the price you pay when you live in Indiana, and want a good job.

Pros

+ Industry leader + The company is growing, so plenty of room for personal career growth + Surprisingly talented development teams (for the most part) considering geographical location + Willing to hire out of school + Agile development philosophy + Fairly relaxed for a development environment + Good benefits package + Work from home once per week

Cons

- Not everyone you're working for/with/under values your opinion - Development salaries are well below the norm - Starting tester and starting programmer salaries are pretty much equal - Salary growth is minimal for most, developers will likely never make a tech industry standard - No effort to balance existing employee salaries when raising starting salary - Flagship products lack early direction, forcing reactive development effort - Working with a team that cares can be hit or miss - Management/HR is slow to react to under-performing employees

Pros

The schedule is M-F, no nights past 7pm and no weekends. They have a cafeteria in house. Encourage you to apply for other positions within the company. Extensive training for your position. Some departments are able to work from home in times of bad weather and other reasons. Insurance starts the day you start!!! Coming from a retail background, these are a few of the things that were important to me.

Cons

The pay could be a little better. It wasn't as bad as I feared but, it is also was not as good as I expected.
