Pros

The best part about the job is the laid back vibe i feel at Apptix. No managers constantly breathing down my neck or useless meetings everyday. I have one meeting once a week and it most of the time its cancelled. Its great to be able to concentrate on my work instead of wasting time doing other things. The benefits are incredible. Pretty cheap premium health care that covers ALOT more than my previous employer. The compensation is great and super competitive.

Cons

Its a small satelite office of only 6 people. 1 of which is my age. I knew what i got my self into when i first started but still cant help but put it down as a con.

As with most companies, there are challenges with workforce split between many locations.

At Apptix we have very open communication between different departments in the office. We strive to give employees freedom to complete their assignments without being managed during every point in the process but we are always there to assist if needed. There will be challenges with any workforce that is split between many locations. At Apptix we keep employees from all locations informed through meetings, phone calls, etc. Communication is key and we do our best to make sure nobody feels distant when they are not in the corporate office location.
