Cameras everywhere! Word is they constantly surveil their employees looking for reasons to reprimand and terminate employees.
Lots of hours means no life. They feel they own you, and schedule meetings on your day off with no consideration of personal responsibilities and no flexibility in return.
No leadership. Management sees their role as finding ways to reprimand you for every infraction of their voluminous rules- which are executed sporadically depending on who you are and how long you've been there. Aptar promotes from within, so managers view every employee with potential as competition, and have no incentive to foster leadership.
People have been fired on the spot for breaking a particular rule, then a week later, somebody else does that same thing and they still have their job.
Some are written up for long breaks, and others leave the floor hourly for a smoke break and/or take additional breaks for meals. Some show up drunk every shift and drink on their break, others are sent for drug testing if they are acting unusual.
Work life balance is horrible. Shift meetings, safety meetings, etc. etc. all scheduled on your day off anywhere from 1-3 A MONTH. If you work nights, it's even harder because they schedule them in the late morning to completely screw up any chance of regular sleep. They sell you on the benefits of the 2-2-3 shift schedule and your "days off", then all too frequently schedule mandatory meetings on your day off.
