I do not have any pro's on Aptean and I have worked in multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Cons
Didn't bill our clients for 3 months, then sent incorrect invoices. Billing is a HUGE problem and resolving it for customers yourself or for the client is nearly impossible and then they just shut the system down on the client. 85% of the time the client is right on the billing and no one from Aptean responds. Acquire companies without even seeing the companies software they are buying in order to corner the market. Guarantee new initiatives to enhance your companies software and NEVER even start them after they are acquired. They take a few people from your company and promote them to running all companies they have in that industry vertical with a 6% raise and will not budge. They let a lot of people go 1 year+ after acquisition and then employees are supposed to take on their entire workload without any increase in pay. Management reprimands you for more lucrative or efficient suggestions and then implements them 4 months later. Owned by private equity, they have no control of the business.
