Pros

Work/Life flexibility is industry leading. The vacation and sick time policies can't be beat. There is definitely a culture that values family and allows employees time off to deal with personal needs. Unlike most competitors, employees are salaried and not commissioned which creates a more holistic environment.

Cons

There is limited opportunity for advancement unless you are willing to relocate. It's a relatively flat organization. It would be great if there was greater investment in employee education and management training. The internal training group consists mostly of former managers

Pros

Good benefits package. Medical, dental, & vision. They have a bonus plan for every 1000-1500 hours work (depending on where you work) you get a paycheck for a full 52 hours

Cons

Will try to sucker you for a low wage. The drawback to the bonus plan is that this is a work around for vacation time. Basically, you don't get any unless you request off. However, if you take a day off, you don't get paid for it. Minor drawback, but still... Certain employees are very hard to get a hold of when you have an issue. Be sure that you stand firm with your pay.

Pros

Aquent has a foot in the door at many companies and there exists opportunities to be hired full time sometimes by Aquent's clients. Aquent's benefits are also very good. It provides health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K and a college tuition savings plan. It is a good company to work for while the economy and employers are sorting themselves out. The only disadvantage for an Aquent talent is that the talent can be thrust into a full time position requiring him/her all responsibilities of a project - budget, planning etc. but not the staffing or political power within a company to complete an assignment.

Cons

The assignments can be short term e.g.one month to two months. It can be frustrating when one is looking for full time work and one gets only short term assignments. Aquent talents do full time position work, including working overtime but Aquent clients have an underlying theme of terming out assignments if an Aquent talent has to work overtime to complete project/position work. Also a talent can be a scape goat if a company is management/divisional disfunctional.
