Pros

- Ability to own your job. No micro-management here. - Fun atmosphere with lots of activities after hours - Knowledgeable co-workers helps to get the job done in a quality way

Cons

- Slow hiring process makes it difficult to staff up when needed - Short-staffed for "non-billable" type of work such as proposals and BD makes it difficult if that is part of your job

Pros

Flexible work hours, collaborative environment, interesting work

Cons

I really can't think of any. Maybe the need to sponsor more events at those consultants offsite.

Pros

Working on mostly government contracts, you enjoy a decent work-life balance. The compensation is pretty fair for a smallish consulting firm.

Cons

Absolute disconnect between employees & management at HQ and those working on client sites. Although HR seems to have stabilized, they went through a period of terrible HR leadership. If you are one of those people working on a client site and don't ingratiate yourself to your BU Director, you can expect a pink slip if/when the company loses the contract.
