Pros

Good opportunity for advancement if you work hard and care about what you do.

Cons

Too little time to effectively manage your team and your daily managerial tasks. Worked with a lot of employees that just did the work for a "job" and employees who didn't really care about how the company did.

Pros

base + commission, gas card + car allowance, yes both gas card and car allowance, very rare, new CEO trying to improve things around

Cons

no sales bonus at all for individual sales contributors, no quarterly bonus, no annual bonus. Sales department restructuring shrunk growth opportunities. A lot of politics involved to move up, basically you have to kiss butt. Corporate leadership doesn't care about top performers and will let them go very easily, very sad. it's becoming a turn and burn company.

Pros

The company is very large, which allows for many opportunities if you are willing to move. The company helped pay for some of my relocation.

Cons

They greatly misrepresented the job opportunity. If you want to manage front-line employees-- or manage the managers of front-line employees, this job could be for you. If you have more diverse aspirations, there won't be a job here for you, no matter what they tell you. Begging to get mentored in a program that says mentorship is included is not beneficial to me, my manager just wants me in the limited role she has placed me in and clearly doesn't care about my personal growth which could benefit the company. None of the things that I emphasized were important to me in my interviews were realized.
