Pros

decent pay but you have to be willing to work long hours and have no work/life balance

Cons

long hours, no time for vacations, promotions are based on who you know not on job performance. They match 401k however the % is constantly changing. Insurance is good but expensive.

Pros

Very large company with many opportunities throughout the US and the world. There is also a good sense of work/life balance with opportunities to work remotely.

Cons

The company is going through a lot of change right now; which means a lot of restructuring and lay-offs. The culture is very cutthroat and everybody is only out for themselves. Furthermore, there is no objective process for promotions and development leading to a lot of nepotism and favoritism throughout the organization. Additionally, communication is a big weakness at Aramark; the company does not communicate openly and honestly to its employees. For a company claiming to be in the "people business" they often treat employees as a necessary evil instead of a true asset to the business.

Pros

Good Career Advancement, great pay, great people, all dedicated to serving customer expectation. Terrific Benefits. Workforce culture is hardworking, and care deeply for goals.

Cons

extremely long hours that constrain work/life balance. product shortages and suspect product quality have constrained business growth. staffing of service manpower has been a significant issue, demanding effort from management to cover staffing losses that are at an alarming level.
