Pros

It was a first job

Cons

-Management didn't know that I was arriving on my first day as I was hired by corporate but assigned to a facility -Role was changed when I got there from a normal 9-5 to a 4pm to 2am -Was told I was supposed to be client facing and sales and ended up being in a facility based role -They didn't want to pay me overtime or do the role that I was told I was working. This made it impossible to do the role I was told to do and was forced into doing manual labor -Tried to schedule meetings with my manager so we could work together but they would leave when I arrived and cancelled all of our meetings -Complained to HR who basically ignored me -Employees were forced to work 6-7 days a week -Low pay compared to elsewhere in the industry -Poor oversight between program bringing college students on by HQ to the actual facility managers -Could not say enough bad things about the company but way worse than I described above

Workload greater than wages offered

Pros

Currently working from home Friendly management

Cons

Insane workload for the wages offered. Every other job I've work that has similar pay has been at least half the work. I'm no stranger to hard work and enjoy, but this job doesn't pay enough to afford a 1 bedroom apartment, even with all the overtime offered. You will have to work overtime to get everything done. It's normal to put in 45-50 hours a week. The job used to be split between multiple departments. However, now one department manages the financial services, and everyone does the work of two jobs. The department is upgrading their system. Instead of preparing the system for use, all workers are guinea pigs to test it. It takes forever to get anything done, in spite of the increased workload. Everything in the system has to be entered manually. In order to advance, you have to volunteer to take on even more work for no extra pay. Edit: Almost forgot. Part of the job is correct for all the mistakes that sales makes constantly. Sales will belittle you for this. They will not be reprimanded for belittling you or for their entirely unprofessional behavior. Sales will also tell you that they gave you necessary information when they have not. You will have to get a manager involved to obtain the information necessary to complete your job. If this takes too long your productivity will suffer. This will be deemed your fault, even if the manager is on your side.
