Pros

The problem space is (at times) interesting and some people are good to work with

Cons

Man, the culture and work life balance here has gone off the rails in the past year since the PE acquisition. As other reviewers say, you are now encouraged to work late into the night, early in the morning, on weekends, on holidays - even for just individual contributors. You are highly encouraged to respond to all Slacks when you are on your PTO, if you even can find time to take PTO. Compensation has not been changed to reflect this insane workload increase. The few people who received promotions told me their raise was on par with what they received as a normal cost of living raise in past years. If you are willing to work this hard and take on this much stress, you should go work somewhere that will actually pay you commensurately, like AI startups or FAANG.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for self-Starters who want to solve complex healthcare problems .

Cons

Company needs to transform structurally as it grows. Need better manager training and expectations.

Pros

Remote work and unlimited PTO meant that, if you had the right manager, work-life balance could be fantastic. In terms of time management, we were given a lot of autonomy. I worked with an incredibly talented, kind, and visionary team (all of whom are now gone).

Cons

It was clear, by the umpteenth series of devastating lay-offs, that leadership cannibalize the entire company if it meant selling to the right private equity firm. There are ways to advance health equity and efficiency that don't entail a million-dollar contract, but those don't fund vacation houses in Cape Cod. Ultimately really awful to watch all the true believers get ground into exhaustion. Men got promoted; women and POC generally did not, unless they were a total sycophant.
