Thanks for your feedback. Due to the nature of our business, our manufacturing operations are running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This requires many employees to work in shifts or be on-call outside of traditional business hours. We provide programs and tools to keep employees safe on the job and to enhance their overall health and wellness. ArcelorMittal also offers a competitive wage and benefits packages, including a vacation policy that becomes more generous with seniority.

Pros

The steel production process is extremely interesting and challenging

Cons

Poor compensation and benefit packages for salaried employees. Incentives and rewards are minimal at best. Human resource policies continue to reduce or eliminate benefits over the long term.

Thank you for your feedback. Our employee communications, incentives schemes, career development opportunities and culture are vital ingredients of engaging and motivating our employees. ArcelorMittal offers its salaried employees competitive benefits that include healthcare, vacation, life and disability insurance, 401(k) savings plans, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement and employee discounts. Salaried employees participate in a competitive bonus program and have multiple opportunities to earn quarterly bonuses when financial and operational performance targets are met. But, we know there is more we need to do, particularly to boost employee engagement following the sustained period of economic uncertainty we have been facing.
