DON'T DO IT! SERIOUSLY!

Pros

Some genuinely good entry and mid-level employees both at the Roswell office and at the manufacturing sites.

Cons

Management is atrocious. Nepotism is rampant. Their 'adult behavior model' and their 'no BS work environment' is just an excuse for upper management to call people out in the middle of a hallway or in a business reviews. Best way to actually *GROW* in that company is brown-nosing - it will move you up QUICK! 2 weeks PTO (the usual) but it takes about 35 years to gain that third and subsequent weeks off.

Pros

Relaxed dress code. Fair pay. Average benefits. Big focus on employee safety.

Cons

leadership team believes the only way to demonstrate leadership is through aggression and bullying, belittling people. No appreciation for differing points of view. Lifers haven’t been exposed to true leadership outside the organization and remain clueless as to how to exhibit respect and adult behavior. They have no idea how to practice what they preach, making talent retention a real issue. Modeling leadership styles from the 80s, mostly trying to impress CEO and other senior leaders that have no need for people and their opinions. They promote feedback, innovation, truth and being direct - up until you actually provide direct feedback - then you’re marked. Very thin skins at the leadership level - surprising. Recent organizational changes have hurt some pretty big egos by reducing the scope of what they perceived as ‘power’ - lots of trash talking, aggression and backstabbing going on for an organization that promotes honesty and directness. The power plays are sad, silly and inhibiting innovation & productivity due to new siloed structure and fear of speaking up. Reality check needed if they want to grow and prosper.

Don't walk...run away!

Pros

Some good people...but their numbers are dwindling quickly as they abandon ship.

Cons

Plant leadership is Stalin-like, with the worst being brought in from the home office or other plants where they tell you they ran a world class operation. (Reality check - in talking to people who worked at those sites, they tell a VERY different story about the job that those people did there!) Current plant leaders use a style that died out in most successful companies years ago...they create an environment of fear and intimidation that you would see in a facility where management and the labor force did not trust one another and had an antagonist relationship. Sadly, the Human Resources team seems unwilling or powerless to do anything about it. We assume it is because the CEO uses this same style of management and thus sets the tone for the company culture, so the inept leaders who use this same style of management must feel protected. FYI...the current CEO once lost his plant to a union...it is easy to see why with the way he leads!
