Pros

There is nothing I can think of.

Cons

PV department is very disorganized. The management style of this department is very unpleasant to work and Toxic. Qualified individuals can't bring their expertise, and absolutely no autonomy. Some of the processes in place put highly qualified individual in trouble with health authorities.

Pros

Free snacks, and their IT team was surprisingly great. Probably okay place to work if you are just starting out and need experience.

Cons

- Lab safety is almost non-existent. - Their HR team is horribly vindictive. I've worked from startups to many large companies and I've never been treated like a potential criminal before. I tried to give my 2 weeks notice and they shortened it to several days. I didn't have time to close out my projects or transfer work. -Parental leave policy is disturbingly inadequate and their HR refuses to address that -Location is not great, no good food options close by and traffic is horrible to matter where you are coming from

Pros

There really are none, industry exposure but you can get that at any biotech...

Cons

Higher level managers take forever to make decisions then press their lower-level employees to crank out bad data so they can save face when their indecisiveness causes delays. As much as they attempt to portray themselves as a great company with ample opportunity for growth, it is far from the truth. They prioritize promotions of directors and higher level positions even though RAs do the brunt of the work. Managers can be toxic and don't know how to manage people, are condescending, and do not know how to train properly. Good luck attempting to report any toxic behavior to HR because they do not keep anything confidential and will try to get rid of you if you report something to HR. Clinical has no idea what they're doing, and the stock price reflects the poor organization of clinical trials. There are always caveats to clinical trial data, usually because they take shortcuts to enroll patients quicker rather than focusing on producing good outcomes. They are consistently below median pay rates for RA positions, but of course managers and directors are compensated generously, and don't even get me started on the CEOs pay...
