HR runs AECC. You have to kiss up to HR, otherwise you'll go nowhere. Very cliquey. Lots of favoritism. People care more about what's for lunch and gossiping than working. Be prepared to get thrown under the bus for everything if you're the new person. No teamwork. Most people are 'clock-watchers' and have no enthusiasm for being there. You'll have lots of unnecessary meetings about meetings. No job security; people get fired here on numerous occasions for no real reason just because HR doesn't like that person. People who worked here for 10+ years and some within months of retirement have been fired, yet someone with no job experience, no qualifications, or enthusiasm to even be there will stay just because HR likes that person.

What's for lunch at the next meeting is more important than employee complaints. Favoritism is rampant, and HR is incompetent. They will try sell you on benefits, and although they are good, you'll be paid less for them.
